Will Max Call Kate?

Yes, Max does call Kate! The following morning, wasting no time,
Max is on the phone in his office asking Kate if she will go with
him to a polo match that afternoon.

Kate just got off the phone with Max and is back at the kitchen
table about to have breakfast with her cousin Francie.
(Francie is on spring break from college and is
spending a few days with Kate.)

"Oh my, Francie, I can't believe he called me so soon! We
just met last night, and I must say, he is incredibly handsome!
But, handsome or not, I'm not going to rush into a relationship
with someone I've just met!"

Max picked up Kate early in the afternoon
and off to the polo match they went with much
conversation along the way.
She couldn't help but notice how strong he is,
 yet so gentle. After a few hours, Max reached
out and held Kate's hand. She didn't mind,
she felt very safe with Max.

Well, time is slipping away and now Kate does not want
their afternoon to end just yet...

so she invites Max to her
apartment for cake and tea.
